CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

• Learners must hold a valid Learner Permit or an equivalent legal driving permit for the state/territory where they are taking lessons.

2. Payment

• All fees must be paid in full before each lesson.

• Payments are accepted via cash, check, manual, and credit card transactions.

• Prices are subject to change at YCDS’s discretion.

• Expired lesson packages, gift cards, or single lessons cannot be used, credited, or transferred.

3. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

• More than 48 hours’ notice → Full lesson credit (no refunds).

• Less than 48 hours’ notice or 'No Show' → Lesson is forfeited (no credit or refund).

• ‘No Show’ Definition: If a learner is not present or reachable within 15 minutes of the lesson start time, the lesson is forfeited.

4. NDIS Participants (Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy)

• More than 24 hours’ notice → Rescheduling allowed.

• Less than 24 hours’ notice or 'No Show' → Full session fee charged.

5. Conduct and Safety

• Learners must wear a seatbelt and safe footwear (open-toed shoes, high heels are prohibited).

• Any unsafe, irresponsible, or disrespectful behavior will result in immediate lesson termination and forfeiture of the session fee.

6. Driving Tests

• Learners under 21 years old must complete 120 hours of practice (incl. 20 hours night driving) and pass The Hazard Perception Test (VicRoads).

• Participants must arrive on time and bring all required documents.

• Late arrivals may lead to test forfeiture.

• Mobile phones must be turned off during the test.

• If incorrect booking details are provided, the session will be canceled with no refund.

• Safe driving practices must be followed; failure to comply may result in test failure.

7. Gift Cards

• No refunds once a gift card is purchased.

• Gift cards expire and become void if not used before the expiration date (all gift cards are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase).

8. Booking Policy & Fraud Prevention

• Tampering with the system, providing false information, or exploiting system controls is strictly prohibited.

• Any violation results in:

  • Immediate cancellation of affected lessons (no refund).

  • Possible suspension or permanent ban from YCDS services.

  • Legal action if necessary.

• YCDS monitors booking activities and reserves the right to investigate and take enforcement actions.

9. Agreement

• By booking a session, learners confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

• Learners affirm they hold a valid driving permit for their driving lessons.
